Pastel Portraiture

My Introduction to pastels began in 1985. A series of classes with a very inspiring instructor became the catalyst
for a continued focus on pastels as my
medium of choice.
The versatility and directness of pastel is very effective in achieving the "painterly" precise style of my work.
The art of portraiture (in which I am mostly self-taught) has always been my favored area of concentration.
I am a member of the Chelmsford Art Society (of Chelmsford Massachusetts) .
Much of my work is exhibited Locally at C.A.S. events.
